Inis history – 30 years of excellence
It all started with an idea to develop a fragrance which would capture the magic of the natural landscapes and coastlines of the emerald isle. This idea is front and centre in their name, as 'Inis' means island in Irish. In particular, their signature Energy of the Sea fragrance takes inspiration from a specific location called Roundstone Beach on the west coast of Ireland. Inis themselves are based in tranquil settings on the east coast of Ireland, having set up in a beautiful converted farmhouse in County Wicklow. It is this immersion in the natural world in Ireland which has been at the root of their success, for over 30 years. The passion that they have for these peaceful Irish environments has been translated into a fragrance range which is like no other.

What does Inis perfume smell like?
Inis's Energy of the Sea unisex fragrance is clean, light and refreshing and yet it is lasting and substantial. This light, fresh and floaty feeling is created with citrus top notes of Sicilian lemon which bring the sun, combined with heart notes of geranium and lily of the valley which evoke a revivifying breeze. The fragrance is given more of a substantial foundation with its base notes of sandalwood and clove. This base level warmth is inspired by the sensation of sun-warmed sand under the feet on a fresh summer's day.
