These environmentally friendly products are based on hardboard, which is a high density fibre board produced in New Zealand from non-rainforest, renewable resources, and cork which is harvested periodically from the cork oak tree.  The cork is a renewable resource, which is grown in Portugal.  With the addition of high quality art reproduction and protective coatings, these products are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
