Classic Canes is a family owned and run company that specialises in walking sticks, seat sticks and umbrellas.  From traditional country sticks to the latest contemporary canes, their products are choosen to reflect a distinctly British sense of style.

The story of classic canes began in 1978 when Diana and Ben Porter bought a neglected woodland in Somerset, England.  The woodland contained a wild crop of naturally regenerating ash - the perfect raw material for walking sticks.  At first Classic Canes supplied a few local shops with ash walking sticks, but demand for a wider range of products meant that the business soon grew.  Today Classic Canes supply many types of stick and cane in many different countries.

Ben and Diana have been joined in the company by their children, Charlotte and Johnny, making it a true family business.
